About Us .
| | The Middlesex DX group was formed at the beginning 2008, by a group amateurs keen on contesting and portable activities. We try and operate as many bands as possible from HF/6M/4M/2M/70cms/23cms and 3cms
Members of the group can normally be found of 70cms simplex (433.600Mhz +/ -) most evenings, if you hear us come and say hello. Since the group was formed we try as often as possible to operate portable from the top of the Chilterns and occasionally put an entry in to the UKAC on Tuesday nights as well other contests.
In 2008 we took /P a bit further away from home and activated the Isle of Arran (EU-123) which was very successful, infact it went so well we activated the Isle of Mull (EU-008) in late 2010! We all thoroughly enjoy operating radio and use this as an excuse to get away from the XYL's for the weekend whenever possible.
We are always looking to welcome new members to our group so if you enjoy operating portable or who would like to try contesting why not contact us!
